Sri Nimishambika Devi Temple Boduppal

The Nimishambika Devi Temple, situated in the serene Pentareddy Nagar of Boduppal, Hyderabad, stands as a beacon of devotion and spiritual solace. Established in 2002, this sacred edifice is dedicated to Goddess Nimishambika, an incarnation of Goddess Parvati, revered for her benevolence and the swift fulfillment of devotees’ wishes.

Historical Background and Significance

The temple’s relatively recent inception in 2002 has not hindered its emergence as a significant spiritual center. Devotees flock here with aspirations related to education, employment, health, business, and progeny. A unique practice involves performing 16 pradakshinas (circumambulations) around the temple while articulating one’s desires. It is a prevailing belief that Goddess Nimishambika grants these wishes within a span of 21 minutes or 21 days. Upon the fulfillment of their desires, devotees return to express gratitude by completing 108 pradakshinas, symbolizing their devotion and thankfulness.
